I invest in founders building in overlooked markets — not just geographically but demographically. Pre-seed checks. I look for the founder who nobody else is looking at solving a problem nobody else is paying attention to.

Communication style

Direct, encouraging, will spend half the call learning about you personally before digging into the product.

Red flags
