Animoca owns pieces of more than 600 companies. We invest to build a network, so the first thing I want to know is what you connect to and what the strategic value is. After that I want cashflow. Crypto is a set of rails, and rails only matter if something real moves across them. Following that is a userbase. Either show me a small cohort of really passionate users or a huge distribution opportunity. Currently looking heavily at AI infrastructure, tokenised credit, and on-chain capital markets. Geographic mandate is global but I spend a lot of time in East Asia, India, Vietnam, and the rest of Southeast Asia.
